Just a quick note to let you know that EMERGE is going to be promoting our Zero Waste campaign in the Arndale Centre as part of the centre's 'Think Green' event. We will be around all day on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th in Exchange Court which is located near Next and Starbucks in the Manchester Arndale Centre.

I saw a zero-waste blog post linking to this video about a family who have taken on a zero-waste lifestyle. Looks like they're saving a LOT of money. Hopefully companies like you will encourage more people to follow this idea - I guess the key is starting early with education. Do you have sister companies down South or around the London area? My Mum's a deputy head teacher and I'm sure she'd be interested in workshops etc. on the 3 Rs!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, sadly we're just based in the North West, but you might have some joy if you speak to the Community Recycling Network. They work nationally with organisations similar to EMERGE to provide sustainable waste solutions and education.
