Another bit of interesting topical news for our Manchester readers, with effect from early July general waste collections will be moving to fortnightly across Manchester.
Apparently this will save the City Council £12m in landfill taxes, but hopefully this won't also be detrimental to the environment of Manchester in the form of increased levels of fly-tipping.
