Vacancy: Zero Waste Education & Community Involvement Manager
This key managerial role will enable EMERGE to broaden its reach and impact promoting the company and the principles of Zero Waste within schools and the wider community; a dynamic operator is needed who can develop and maximise the team’s abilities to deliver high quality education, training, volunteering and community involvement services in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area. The post holder will undertake effective development, tendering and marketing strategies making EMERGE’S community involvement work sustainable by successfully launching new services in the marketplace and winning new business.
We seek a highly self-motivated individual with excellent communication and project development skills, the ability to work successfully with partner organisations and a proven experience of delivering education/training/community involvement activities.
Payscale: £20,966 (4 days)
Application deadline: 10am on 8th March 2011.
Interviews will take place on 9th and 11th March 2011.
Applicant must be available to start as soon as possible, ideally week beginning 14th March 2011 inc handover.
This will be a 6-month fixed term contract pending further funding being secured.
